I think I've found my HG Red Lipstick! (Chanel Rouge Allure in Pirate)

As any beauty blogger knows, finding the perfect red lipstick is an arduous task. Red is a tricky color to wear, but the results can be absolutely breathtaking. I can't tell you how many different shades of red I've bought along the way to this discovery. Last month, I bought my very first Chanel lipstick, in the new Rouge Allure line. It is called Pirate, and is simply perfect.

I applied it straight out of the tube, and didn't use a lip liner. I did exfoliate my lips beforehand, so that may have helped the smooth application, but honestly I think the formula is the true star here. It is creamy and wearable, and very comfortable on the lips. It lasted a few hours and left a pretty stain behind, so really this is a multitasking product.

What do you guys think of it?? I'm enchanted.
